The Visiting Writers
Committee proudly brings the best local and regional writers to our campus
to provide students with real life connections to all genres and cultures.
All students need a variety of experiences so they will become more
appreciative of the world around them. Without such opportunities,
students would be carbon copies or cookie cutter versions, not individual
human beings. In keeping with this mantra, the Visiting Writers Committee has brought a grand diversity of authorship to campus. Often we have attracted up and coming writers on their way to greatness; often we have attracted established writers who continue to astound and impress audiences with their words. In continuing our heritage of attracting quality writers, this Spring we bring to campus noted author Terry Kay, who will share his wit and wisdom. |
