In addition to my job in the Psychology & Sociology Department, I'm the director of the NGCSU Honors Program.
My wife, Jennifer, teaches in the history department. We moved to Dahlonega in 1993 after a year in Ohio. Our son Charlie is 13, and we also have three dogs and two cats packed into our house on Crown Mountain.
I grew up in Houston, Texas (in the Clear Lake
area, right by the Johnson Space
Center) and still follow all Longhorn
athletic teams, as well as the Rockets
and the Astros religiously.
I enjoy playing basketball and softball, watching sports live and on TV, lying in the hammmock,
kayaking, cycling, poker, FPS games, watching The Office, all kinds of movies, cooking (mainly Texas chili, Cajun food, Italian food),
occasionally reading (although my job requires so much of it that my eyes have usually seen enough by 5pm).
