To type a Spanish accent mark over a letter on a p.c.:

Hold down the “alt” key and type the following numbers at the same time. The accented letter should appear.

ALT +

130 = é

144 = É

160 = á

161 = í

162 = ó

163 = ú

129 = ü

164 = ñ

165 = Ñ

168 = ¿

173 = ¡

174 = «

175 = »

On a Mac: (not guaranteed to work! It’s been awhile since I used a Mac!)

Hit the option button and the letter you want accented at the same time. Let them both up and then hit the letter you want accented again.

Option + e, then e again = é
