Reflection paper on Chief Vann House
Now, remember, these papers are short. But they should fill that one page. You have to make sure you have a thesis; something you are trying to argue. Do not argue make an argument in the vein of "The Chief Vann House national park site has both succeeded and failed at preserving the history of the Cherokee nation." There is not a right answer, so pick one. Include an introductory paragraph, and paragraph/s to back up your argument. You can't say everything in one page, so pick the most important thing/s you want to discuss.

The Chief Vann House is a historic site that has, fortunately, been preserved in North Georgia. How well has the site done in capturing the history of the Cherokee people who once lived in North Georgia.

Remember to back up your argument with very specific examples.

Maymester 2009 Atlanta Field Trip Reflection Paper

Atlanta does have a reputation for disregarding its history insofar as it tears down buildings, with seeming zest, to build new, modern, bigger, taller, buildings. In your paper, reflect on how well you think Atlanta has preserved its history, particularly in regard to black Atlantans and the civil rights movements.

Reflection Paper on Gold Mine

Your paper should be about 2 pages--no more that two and a half--use specific information you gained from the field trip in the papers. You will be graded on content, analysis and grammar.

Your topic: How did the different mining processes effect the land in North Georgia? Did this have an effect on the inhabitants as well?
