LibGuides is an exciting new software that is transforming the environment of academic libraries. LibGuides features make it easy for librarians to create digital spaces with a 2.0 look and feel, incorporating tabs, widgets, interactive searches, RSS feeds, podcasts, surveys, and user comments. Rebecca Gettys, Reference Librarian at the University of South Carolina, and Jennifer Campbell-Meier, Associate Professor and Coordinator of Information Literacy & Distance Education at North Georgia College & State University, will discuss the multiple benefits of these features, including how they contribute to a greener library environment.
