Panel Presentation:

This panel presentation introduces LibGuides a library 2.0 publishing system that combines social networks, wikis, bookmarks and blogs to identify and promote library resources. LibGuides was adopted by North Georgia College & State University (NGCSU) and the University of South Carolina (USC) to create library guides that can incorporate a variety of formats including video, rss feeds, and podcasts. The adoption of LibGuides has increased the visibility of library services on campus, and introduced new avenues for collaboration between librarians and faculty in helping students with their studies.
