    Attendance:
Policy: I will abide by the University attendance policy.  See page 79 of the 2008-2010 Undergraduate Bulletin.    Additionally, I strongly encourage all students to attend all classes.

Testing: There will be three major tests during the term as well as a comprehensive final exam.  Short quizzes will be given on a more or less weekly basis.

    Calculation
     of Final Grade:
Each major test is 20% of your grade, the final exam is 25%. The quizzes combine for 15% of the final grade. My grading scale is 90-100 A, 80-89 B, 70-79 C, 60-69 D, 0-59 F.

    Make-up
    Policy:
If you miss a major test because of an extremely good reason, a make-up test is possible. I am the judge of what constitutes an “extremely good reason”. I do not give make-ups on the short quizzes, and I do not accept late homework.

    Academic
    Integrity:
I expect all students to abide by the University Integrity Code: "On my honor, I will not lie, cheat, steal, plagiarize, evade the truth or tolerate those who do."

Note: Any student with a qualified handicap which requires accommodations should talk with me after class so that arrangements can be made. A student must verify that he/she has a qualified handicap through the Office of Student Disability Resources at 706-867-2782.

Class evaluations:  Class evaluations at NGCSU are now conducted on-line through Banner.  Evaluation of the class is considered a component of the course and students will not be permitted to access their course grade until the evaluation has been completed.   The evaluations will be accessible beginning one week prior to Final Exam week.  Specific instructions will be made available when the surveys are activated.

Note: The final exam for this course is Friday, Dec. 4 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm
