Amie Comeaux - "Memories Left Behind" Written by Gary Underwood (Painesville, Ohio) This is Amie's third and final album. These are the last 10 songs she recorded prior to her tragic death on Dec. 21, 1997. She was only 21 years young and went to sing for the Lord. She had the voice of an angel and her songs and memories will live on forever. She always had a knack at finding the perfect songs to fit her voice and her big heart. Track 1: "Keep On" is a song where she longs for someone who will pursue her love and never give up until you win her heart. Track 2: "A Rose By Any Other Name" is a story of a homeless woman who struggles with her life, but never sells herself and strives to be a good person, and ends up dying and people just called her Rose. They did not know her real name, only that she sold paper roses to strangers. A very heartfelt song and delivery from Amie - wow!! Track 3: "Make No Promises Tonight" - This song is about two people just out of bad relationships who are fearful of opening up their hearts again, but they are beginning to have feelings for one another. They agree to move forward but not making any promises for the future at the present time. Track 4: "Ain't Heard Nothin Yet" is a song warning you about not believing everything a guy tells you. She says when a guy's lips are moving, he is telling you lies. So the guy is just telling you what you want to hear. Track 5: "You Could Steal Me" is a song about a woman who is unhappy in her current relationship and longs for a new guy in her life to take her away. She shows how easy that task would be. Track 6: "Never Had A Girl Like Me" is a song about a girl who wants the man to get serious about their relationship and stop looking around for others. So she is telling him to get srious or she is gone. Track 7: "Don't Tell Him" is a song where she is not over her ex-boyfriend and is trying to make people think she is over him. Her friends know that it is quite the opposite. Track 8: "He's Easy To Please" is a song about a woman who does all she can do to please her man and he appreciates it. He knows she has her faults and loves her for who she is. Track 9: "How Hard Could It Be" is a song of finding the man of your dreams and she has faith it will be easy. It sounds like something Patsy Cline would have sung. Track 10: "All By Myself" - This is a cover of the song written and sung by Eric Carmen. This is a timeless classic. She puts her heart and soul into this and shows she has the pipes, too. She longs not to be alone anymore and wants to find someone to be there for her in every way. You will love this CD. Her other two CDs are available as well, "Moving Out" and "A Very Special Angel." They make great gifts and will touch your heart with her voice of an angel.
