Welcome. My name is Derek Sutton and I work in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice at North Georgia College & State University. I am an instructor of American Government and I also teach Strategies for College Success (UNIV 1000) in the Division of Academic Support Programs. I am also Faculty Advisor for the NGCSU College Republicans and I chair the NGCSU American Democracy Project committee.

NOTE: As of August 13th, 2008, I have made significant changes to my POLS 1101 syllabus for the Fall Semester 2008. I am no longer requiring the software/technology (Interwrite PRS RF Student Response System 'clicker'). If you have already purchased the 'clicker', please do not open it or program it; return it to the NGCSU bookstore.
